GuardaFoto for WordPress
The same tool, inside your own WordPress site. Your visitors paste a link and download the public photo — profile pictures, banners, covers, thumbnails — without leaving your page.
Download the plugin (.zip, v1.0.0)
What it does
- A GuardaFoto block for the editor, and the shortcode
[guardafoto]anywhere else. - Works with YouTube channels and videos, Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music — the same links the website accepts.
- Text in English or Spanish, following your site's language automatically.
- No settings page to fight with, nothing to configure, no accounts.
Install it
- Download the .zip above.
- In your WordPress: Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, pick the file, activate.
- Add the GuardaFoto block to a page, or write
[guardafoto]in any post.
How it works, honestly
The plugin itself is small on purpose: it doesn't scrape anything and stores nothing. When a visitor uses the box, their browser asks the free GuardaFoto API to resolve the link, and the photo loads from the platform's own servers. That's why it's free and why it keeps working without updates every time a platform changes something — the fixing happens on our side, once, for everyone.
Under the box there's a small visible line, “Powered by GuardaFoto · A3Q Global”, linking back here. That's the whole deal: the plugin is free, and that link is how it pays its way.
The plugin is also being reviewed for the official WordPress.org directory; when it's listed there you'll be able to install it from your dashboard by searching “GuardaFoto”. Until then, the .zip above is the same package.
